The Board of Directors at the Youth Service Bureau has established a scholarship program to acknowledge and celebrate the end of our former executive director's 25-year career helping youth in our community. The Kathleen Wright Social Work Scholarship Fund will be award a graduating senior $1,000 toward their education in the field of social work. The scholarship application is open to students who reside in Sangamon, Christian, Logan, Mason, or Menard counties. 

To apply for the scholarship, students need to write a personal letter including the following information:

• Student Name, Address, Phone Number, & Email Address
• High School they are currently attending
• College they plan to attend (if known)
• Why they would like to go into social work and how this scholarship will help them in this goal
• Optional Information: GPA, Class Standing, Activities, Accomplishments, Achievements, or any other information they would like our selection committee to know.

All letters need to be postmarked no later than March 8, 2024. The chosen recipient will be notified through their high school by May 1. 2024.
